RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Tampa, FL that is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with working experience in either Go or Python program languages to join their team and help deploy an off the shelf distributed application for global delivery. The Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of our production systems and applications.This role will be focused primarily on the implementation of large-scale enablement of a new SecDevOps capability that will support internal development teams for large adoption. Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain scripts and tools to automate operations and maintenance tasks
- Automate deployment and scaling of production systems and applications
- Troubleshoot and debug production systems and applications
- Design, develop, and implement continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) processes
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to improve the overall development, deployment, and scaling processes
- Monitor and optimize issues related to infrastructure performance of production systems and applications
- Ensure the security of production systems and applications by implementing best practices for security and data protection
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3-5 years of experience with Azure Devops or other CI/CD product
- 3-5 years of experience with AWS/Azure/GCP (at least 1 cloud platform)
- 3-5 years of IaaC experience
- 1-2 years of experience with Hashicorp Vault or Similar product
- 1 year of Powershell experience nice to have
- Scripting experience (Bash or Shell or similar)
- Artifact Lifecycle Management experience
- IAM experience nice to have
- Application/Infra Security experience nice to have
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
