Senior Estimator We are a top 50 southeastern General Contracting firm in business for 25 years. We specialize in multifamily/mix-use projects and are growing rapidly in the FL market.

What You Will Be Doing Must be able to read and fully understand project drawings and specifications for all trades Architectural, MEP, Structural, Sprinkler, Fire Alarm, etc.
Work in conjunction with Preconstruction team in preparing detailed cost estimates and project budgets ranging from conceptual to GMP based construction documents
Review design iterations, addendum, updates, etc. and identify changes in scope that may result in cost changes
Update internal documents (COB and estimate) to reflect the changes and adequately communicate said changes to subcontractors to insure inclusion in subcontractors pricing
Help identify and prequalify new subcontractors
Create project estimates from analysis of subcontractor and supplier bids
Conducts post-bid and buyout meetings and negotiation/scope review meetings
Once construction documents are released, work with Architects, Owners, and Engineers to formulate accurate and complete budgets
Manage document control from inception through schematic design, design development to construction documents, and subcontractor buyout
Attend job site walk-throughs and effectively communicate and coordinate with project superintendents and subs
What You Need for this Position 5+ years within multifamily/mix-use construction
Experience in both hard bid and CM at Risk design-assist estimating efforts is preferred
Experienced with managing multiple projects ~$15M or managing one large project ~$50M
Comparison of Bid (COB) creation and analyzation
Programs: On-Screen Takeoff, EarthWorks Pro, MS Office, MS Project,
