They are seeking a skilled Senior Estimator to join their dynamic team in Chicago. Your new role
As the Senior Estimator, you will report directly to the Director of Preconstruction and work alongside a dedicated team of 6 in the Estimating team. You will be responsible for p reparing detailed cost estimates for large complex projects across diverse private and public sectors within Chicago. You will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and vendors to ensure accurate and competitive bids.

What you'll need to succeed
8-15 years experience estimating all types of building projects, including residential high rise, healthcare, interiors and institutional. (Or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Familiar with the use of on-screen take-offs software program preferred.
Bachelor in Engineering or Construction Management or Architecture.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and project plans. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and project plans.
Able to take concept and schematic drawings and develop meaningful estimates
In-depth knowledge of construction methods and materials.
Excellent communication skills when liaising with clients, contractors, and team members.
