As a SeniorFacilities Engineer - Mechanical, you will be responsible for managing and supporting capital projects up to $10 MM, including design firms up to $2 MM in fees, across manufacturing and shipping locations in Sheboygan Falls and Milwaukee, WI. At times, you may also support other sites in North America. Your expertise will focus on mechanical engineering related to equipment, piping, HVAC systems, utilities, and building infrastructure in a manufacturing environment. Furthermore, your responsibilities will include: Execute projects from initiation to closure, including planning, resource management, budgeting, risk management, and change control.Engage proactively with the team to utilize lean and value-added project management processes.Ensure timely start-up and commissioning in alignment with project, production, and maintenance teams.Maintain project files in real time using shared resources such as network drives and SharePoint.Train, coach, develop, and mentor engineering and maintenance staff in mechanical engineering matters.Demonstrate professionalism, independence, ownership, and a sense of urgency in performing duties. Identify and drive projects independently, focusing on cost savings, process improvement, and sustainability.Maintain active communication with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including the project management office, production unit heads, and other relevant groups, to ensure alignment and achieve optimal results.Take the lead in departmental process improvement initiatives, aligning them with annual objectives.

Who you are:

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.4+ years experience in mechanical engineering project management within the chemical, food, or pharmaceutical industry.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 3+ years of related work experience.Project Management Professional Certification (PMI PMP) or ability to obtain within one year of hire.Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, MS Project, AutoCAD, and document management systems.Ability to identify interdependencies and ensure alignment within projects.Strong technical knowledge in mechanical engineering, including safety standards, mechanical design specifications, and reviewing technical drawings.Familiarity with equipment such as pumps, piping, HVAC systems, and utilities commonly used in manufacturing.Excellent oral and written communication skills, including effective presentation and meeting management abilities.Exceptional documentation skills, demonstrating discipline and attention to detail.RSREMD
