RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client, a well-established and growing international company in the Grand Rapids area, is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join their corporate accounting team. This is a new position due to growth, and provides a hybrid work schedule.Responsibilities:- Prepares weekly reporting to summarize current and projected company financial position to include but is not limited to: gross margin analysis, and expense analysis
- Partner with the cost accounting team to review product costing and maintain production cost variance oversight
- Reviews weekly pricing for accuracy
- Ensures sales, margin, product cost, and freight & storage costs are accurate
- Possess familiarity with product cost management and standard costing derivation and variance analysis
- Works with business to develop the Annual Operating Plan (AOP)
- Monitors internal control and risk assurance activities and ensures compliance with basic accounting principles and company procedures
- Identifies trends and makes recommendations to management regarding cost saving or profit generating opportunities and profitability improvement strategies
- Analyzes data and develops reporting for management use as appropriate
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree required Accounting, Finance, Business Admin, or a related field
- At least 3-5 years of previous accounting or financial analysis experience with an understanding of cost accounting
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
