RESPONSIBILITIES:
A Kforce client in Waltham, MA is seeking a Senior Manager of Corporate Accounting to join their team. This client is a biotechnology company with a fun culture. They offer bonus and 401K with match. This role will work in a hybrid model, 3 days a week in office and 2 days remote. Responsibilities will include:- In this role, the Senior Accounting Manager will oversee corporate accounting, Payroll, AP, and AR activities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements
- Assist with financial audit activities
- Manage and train staff
- Assist with Audit coordination
- Establish internal controls and accounting procedures
- Perform ad hoc projects as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or MBA is preferred
- 5-8+ years of accounting experience
- Some supervisory experience
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable working independently
- Experience in biotechnology or pharmaceuticals is a plus
- Knowledge of SOX and US GAAP
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
