Location: Attleboro, MA
Salary: $120,000.00 USD Annually - $130,000.00 USD Annually
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Senior Process Engineer - Chemicals/Refining
- Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in chemistry or chemical Engineering or Metallurgical Engineering
- Working knowledge of precious metal extraction and refining procedures
- Working knowledge of pyrometallurgical and hydrometallurgical processing operations
- Working knowledge of industrial wastewater treatment operations
- Ability to do chemical and metallurgical calculations such as heat balances, mass balances, chemical consumptions, etc.
- 5 years of hands-on experience with the unit operations of hydrometallurgical and pyrometallurgical extraction and refining procedures
- A demonstrated ability to manage projects, select chemical process equipment and prepare process flow diagrams.
- At least 1 year of preparing automatic control schemes.
• Wastewater License (MA grade 2 or above)
