Description: Senior Program Manager

The senior program manager has the ability to coordinate and administer multiple complex programs/projects, activities and protocols and is accountable for delivering the finished equipment, software, etc. across the system. He or she has the ability to manage processes, monitor activities and assess risks and quality control associated with the program. These initiatives may consist of variety of integrated functions as well as 3rd party vendors. Uses, promotes and supports the effective execution and evolution of program/project management best practices. Projects will have an impact far beyond their immediate objective, with required advanced critical path management.

• Portfolio management
• Budget management
• Manages business and stakeholder engagement/communication
• Resource management
• Vendor management
• Manage multiple program/ project managers across the system
• Oversees development of best practices
• Translates concepts and insights into concrete programs
• Drives the program/project to completion / acceptance with key business stakeholders and leaders.
• Sets deliverables and creates contingency plans for the program plan.
• Manages cross-functional teams, multiple complex projects, across multiple initiatives with varying time horizons
• Proactively manages risks and issues
• Establishes performance metrics
• Creates corrective action plans as necessary to bring program to compliance standards
• Prepares and conducts presentations to internal and external teams and to senior management, as necessary
• Performs process reviews and provides improvement suggestions.
• Has working knowledge of software development methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile/Scrum, and Hybrid processes.

• Experience Project Management: Principles and methodologies, industry best practices, and end-to-end Project Management Life Cycle
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Masters
• Application development project management experience (Waterfall, Agile)
• PMP certification
• 15 + years' experience required.
