JOB DESCRIPTION

Senior Web Applications Developer

This position advises and supports the company's various teams (IT, Marketing, Business, etc.) in designing, developing, and deploying its web and mobile applications. This person works directly with these team members on matters related to web and mobile application architecture and functionality.

Most of the time spent involves hands-on design and development work.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze system requirements and prioritize tasks
  • Write clean, secure, testable code using .NET programming languages
  • Develop technical specifications and architecture
  • Test and debug various .NET applications
  • Review and refactor code
  • Deploy fully functional applications
  • Upgrade existing programs
  • Support junior developers' work
  • Document development and operational procedures
Requirements:
  • Work experience as a .NET Developer
  • Proficiency in building web-based or mobile applications
  • In-depth knowledge of at least one of the .NET languages, like C# and VB.NET
  • In-depth knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Web Protocols
  • Working knowledge of CSS3, HTML5, MVC, Responsive Design
  • Familiarity with agile environments, such as Azure DevOps
  • Intermediate relational database experience, preferably with SQL Server
  • Troubleshooting abilities
  • Any, and all, Microsoft Office 365 software experience is a plus
Any experience with Swift, Xamarin, or UWP is a plus

Experience:
  • Minimum 4 - 5 years working in web or mobile application design and development
  • 5, or more, years of programming experience in .NET, JavaScript and/or similar technologies

Education:

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or similar discipline
