Location: Charlotte, NC

Duration: 12+ Months

Responsibilities:

• Consultation and Participation: Provide guidance and recommendations for best practices in SharePoint, including leadership in migrating to new SharePoint releases and third-party tools that extend SharePoint capabilities.
• Software Engineering Initiatives: Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering.
• Planning and Analysis: Contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables.
• Issue Resolution: Review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges, considering variable factors, and contribute to their resolution.
• Collaboration: Work closely with client personnel in Software Engineering to ensure successful integration of SharePoint sites and applications.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 4+ years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work, consulting, training, or military experience.
• Education: Relevant degree such as Bachelor's and High School Degree in Computer Science, Education, Engineering, Technical, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Graduate, Business, or Technology.
• Desired Skills:
  • Overall topology of SharePoint
  • Remedy to monitor incidents and change requests opened by end-users
  • Development concepts (HTML, IIS, Active Directory)
  • Best practices for migrating and troubleshooting SharePoint 2010/2013 solutions
  • Experience managing SharePoint forms
  • Overall functionality of SharePoint, including configuration, administration, and troubleshooting
  • Cloud environment and scripting (PowerShell) is highly desirable
