RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Software Developer IV in Mountain View, CA. The client is looking for an experienced Golang developer who will work closely with product and development teams to build capabilities in the space of Production engineering.Duties Include:- Software Developer IV will build integration and unit tests along with code
- Work in agile development environment with short sprints and standups
- Implement proof of concept, prototypes, and production-grade software
- Maintain and support existing software and hardware systems, infrastructure, and production
- As a Software Developer IV, you will assist support staff and team members in trouble-shooting software issues and implementing bug fixes
- Work to continually improve code quality, and get bugs fixed and deployed rapidly
- Creation, development, and operation of productivity tools used by engineers
- Work closely with the core team to modernize and automate release management, deployment processes and strategies covering Dev, Test, Stage, and Production environments and collaborate with team members in the improvement of CI/CD practices
REQUIREMENTS:
- 6+ years of experience on AWS with focus on services like RDS, DynamoDB, EKS, SQS, SNS, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Config, CloudFormation and CDK (preferred)
- 5+ years programming experience in Golang
- 2+ years of experience in monitoring and logging Splunk and Wavefront
- 1+ years of experience in Test driven development
- Hands-on experience in JUnit or other unit testing tools
- Sound knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
