Your Role:

The role is responsible for Software developments in the Instrument & Digital Team of Bio Monitoring R&D.

In order to solve the challenges of our customers in the Pharma and Food & Beverage, you will have to drive internal and external suppliers in India, USA and/or Germany, apply software good development practices and be curious to explore a wide range of new technologies.You will be part of a multi-site R&D working on different projects with different team members. Your focus will be to support our Bellevue, WA, USA projects with your software expertise, and will also work occasionally with global project teams including Europe.The job is located St-Louis, MO and you will report to a line management in Molsheim, France.

Key tasks and responsibilities are to:

  • Ellicitate the software specifications to answer our customer needs
  • Prototype the Software features using UX/UI tools (e.g. figma, Qt, Marvel,) and the instrument connectivity features (e.g. ProfiBus, MQTT/REST, Ethernet/UDP, CAN)
  • Design, develop and build firmwares, softwares, and web applications (i.e. webservers, cloud computing)
  • Manage the software development with DevOps tools (e.g. Jama, Jira, GIT,)
  • Manage & follow internal and external providers
  • Build the software documentations following the GaMP5 guidelines and our internal Digital Quality requirements
  • 10% worldwide travel required

Who you are:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master's degree of Science in Computer Engineering
  • 3+ years' experience in technologies such as IoT, Java, HTML5, CSS, XML, Linux/Android platform with integration of API for embedded software, PC software and/or Cloud Solutions

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of communication protocols for instruments (CAN, Profibus, Ethernet/UDP)
  • Knowledge of AR, VR, AI, double biometric authentication tools
  • Use of software development tools
  • Used to work in multicultural environment (Gernamy, USA, India) with IT providers
  • Knowledge of the FDA regulation for pharmaceutical products with a focus on xGMP, GaMP and CFR
