Position: Software Engineer III

Job Location: 860 W. California Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94086

Duties: Create date pipelines for supporting key initiatives related to Customer Data Lake which requires working on assembling large complex datasets that meet business requirements generating customer insights. Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture in hybrid cloud environments. Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements including automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, and re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability. Work with stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Engineering (any), or a related field. Position does not require specific years of experience but requires listed skills.

Skills required: Experience coding in one of the following object-oriented programming languages: C++, Python, Java, or Scala. Experience building large scale data pipelines using big data technologies including Spark, Kafka, Hadoop and Hive. Experience creating and maintaining optimal data pipeline architecture in hybrid cloud environments. Experience assembling large, complex data sets that meet functional and non-functional business requirements generating customer insights to drive critical business decisions. Experience with SQL and Query Optimization. Experience with data modelling. Experience implementing best practices for supportability, debuggability, monitoring, alerting, dashboarding, and CI/CD. Experience with orchestration tools including Airflow, Automic, and Oozie. Experience developing and maintaining high-performance backend systems for efficient data processing. Experience with Git version control system and collaborative development workflows. Employer will accept any amount of professional experience with the required skills.

Salary Range: $170,186/year to $234,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
