Job Description

We are seeking a Sourcing Assistant to support our Global Sourcing Department.

We recently expanded our portfolio with new print and e-commerce brands. These additions to our portfolio of affiliated companies will both enhance our customer product offerings and offer new career growth opportunities. To build on that success and support future growth, we are seeking a detail-oriented Sourcing Assistant with strong organizational skills.

What You'll Do:
As a Sourcing Assistant, you will perform all duties necessary to assist Sourcing Managers with the successful sourcing of materials and products for specific RD, SFC, Pack & SKU-level assortments. You'll be responsible for inputting and maintaining vendor and product data in various systems and preparing information and deliverables for business updates, seasonal planning milestones and corporate calendar deadlines.

You'll also be responsible for:
• Supporting the team with essential product sourcing and vendor management activities
• Assisting the team with product development and sampling activities
• Assisting the Sourcing and Merchandising teams in collecting and verifying vendor and product information for catalog/web presentation
• Supporting in-season product performance monitoring and management

Qualifications

We're Looking For:
Someone who will quickly master the use of merchandising/sourcing systems and internally created mainframe systems and who has a high level of oral and written communication skills.

You'll thrive in this role if you are both flexible and process-oriented and can flex to meet changing priorities within the business. Attention to detail is critical in this position.

In addition, we are looking for:
• An associate degree in business or a related field
• 1+ years of previous experience negotiating/coordinating with vendors &/or the public
• Solid computer skills, especially in MS Excel and Word; Power BI is a plus
• Self-motivation and the ability to work efficiently with limited supervision
• Strong multi-tasking skills and an ability to prioritize multiple deadlines and projects
• Strong written communication to efficiently work with internal cross-functional teams and external vendors
• We value collaboration and believe that it often happens best in person. This position is required to work onsite at our Monroe, WI Design Center
