What you'll do...
This position is on Walmart's Central Intake and Legal Holds Team. The Team intakes, processes, and assigns various types of legal documents. Also, the Team ensures that information potentially important to litigation is preserved. The Team accomplishes preservation by drafting, issuing, and maintaining legal hold notices and partnering with key stake holders on preservation projects.
You'll make an impact by:
- Being comfortable with technology, data entry, and how to leverage tools to improve processes•
- Acquiring and maintaining knowledge of legal pleadings and documents, legal preservation requirements, general practice areas of litigation, and attention to detail.
- Demonstrating excellent judgment and knowing when to elevate issues to leadership and manage time.
- Adhering to intake and legal preservation procedures and quality assurance requirements.
- Collaborating well with key stakeholders.
- Maintaining security and confidentiality of sensitive information, data and communications.
- Drafting, proofreading and updating reports, templates, and demonstrations.

Minimum Qualifications:2 years' work experience in a professional office or legal environment.
Preferred Qualifications:2 years' relevant Walmart experience (for example, Investigations, Human Resources, Ethics, administrative support).
2 years' experience with Walmart systems (i.e., PeopleSoft, Retail Link, ClaimZone).

The hourly wage range for this position is $23.00-$45.00*
*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
