SQL SSIS Developer
BCforward is seeking a SQL SSIS Developer role for remote opportunity in Indiana

SQL SSIS DEVELOPER

* Fed Clearance required (5C/6C): 6C

JOB DESCRIPTION

* Will join team of 2-3 developers

* Create and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code

* Deliver to aggressive product release schedules working as a cooperative team member in an Agile development environment

* Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues in addition to production support needs

* Support SSIS and SSRS|PowerBI|Tableau development

* Produces technical specifications for required features and architectural/framework improvements

* Participates in design meetings, system analysis, research, and peer code reviews

* Effectively functions and communicates within a software development team consisting of developers, quality assurance, and business analysts

* Assists in the development of documentation such as design artifacts, unit tests, code, and fixes

* Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

* Strong interpersonal and team player skills

* Appetite to learn new technologies and frameworks

* Excellent written and verbal communications skills

* Skillset: SSIS (Script Task Development Included) , SSRS, C #, VB, JSON, HTML

* Minimum 3-5 years of strong knowledge coding in SSIS and SSRS|PowerBI|Tableau

* Minimum 3-5 years of strong knowledge of SQL databases

* Experience creating database schemas that represent and support business processes

* Proficient understanding of developing scalable SSIS packages that are dynamically driven

o Connection Managers

o Variables

o Experience deploying SSIS Projects which self-execute and can pass variable data across packages

o Connection Settings

o Utilization of Azure Key Vault

Education & Experience

* Minimum of bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

* Must appreciate teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement as core tenants of their work

* Understanding of methodologies and delivery of business software solutions with experience in the various SDLC methodologies and working with a DevOps mindset

* Willing to learn new skills such as CozyRoc and Azure Dev Ops

3. Deliverables and Schedule.

The Deliverables to be provided by Consultant shall include, but shall not be limited to, the Deliverables set forth below, which shall be provided in accordance with the following schedule:

a. Assist with converting existing SSIS packages to utilize Azure Key Vault for Password Reset Initiative

b. Assist with upcoming Development Efforts related to the Split of Department of Education Volume to Maximus

c. Develop JSON based File load process which will be used to load records to various application maintained by our development team

d. Convert current SAS programs over to SSIS

e. Assist with upgrading DTSX packages to Visual Studio 2019
