Sr. Electrical Design Engineer (motion control) *Title:*Senior Electrical Design Engineer
*Location:* Poway, CA - *HYBRID* work schedule
*Salary:* $120,000- $140,000 + Profit Sharing + Full Benefits

We are a leading manufacturer of semiconductor test and inspection equipment. We were founded in the 50s and have locations throughout the globe. Our location in Southern California yields over $240M in revenue each year.
What You Will Be Doing - Design, develop, modify, test, integrate, and maintain electronic and electrical systems - components, circuitry
- PCB schematic capture and component selection
- Maintain design lifecycle
- Participate in all phases of the assigned projects, including design, testing, and integration of electromechanical systems
- Follow established engineering procedures and specifications for the design and development of analog and digital circuits, electrical components, and electrical systems
What You Need for this Position - BS degree or better in Electrical Engineering or a similar field
- You need to have motion control system experience -- You should know how to select a motor and motor driver, and know the types of servo motor/step motor
- You should have motion control system design & integration experiences such as designing and integrating Multi-Axis Motion Control Systems with mixed types of motor/controllers including Digital and Analog Sensor/Actuator
- You should have electronics circuit design experience using microprocessors, FPGA, Digital and Analog components
- Experience working on hand-held types of products and/or semiconductor experience is a huge plus
