Job Description:
- The Senior Manager will hire, manage, and support a team of technical writers responsible for the creation and management of corporate documents, creation and management of business process/product documents, and various other projects.
- Will be responsible for overseeing the CoreLogic documentation program and implementing changes to improve that program.
- Ensures that the staff comply with the best practices established as part of the program.
- Provides guidance on writing complex and technical documents.
- Ensures staff effectively prioritize work assignments and completes them timely.
- Monitors workload of staff.
- Assists staff to refine and improve their writing skills.
- Partners with business functions to identify opportunities for support.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience required. Master's degree is preferred.
- 4+ years related experience.
- Experience managing teams, preferably teams of technical writers.
- Experience developing, enhancing, deploying, and overseeing a documentation program.
- Experience with drafting and managing corporate-level documents.
- Familiarity with various tools used for documentation and experience with analyzing new tools for potential use is preferred.
- Self-motivated and robust organizational skills.
- Substantial written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience engaging and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders across a company, including with senior leadership.
- Exceptional leadership skills, including team-building and emotional intelligence.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and to manage change effectively.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple complex projects.
- Ability to react quickly to complete time sensitive requests.
Annual Pay Range:76,700 - 103,500 USD
