What You Will Be Doing - You will be a part of a very high-impact Platforms team working along side engineering teams across the globe
- Support our development and production container infrastructure
- Subject Matter Expert on Kubernetes and other technologies owned by the Platforms team
- Lead high impact projects
- Mentor other team members technically and support the team's priorities
- Foster good communication with stakeholders
- Build greenfield projects
- Mitigate legacy infrastructure
- Participate in on-call rotations
What You Need for this Position At least 6 years of experience with:
- Linux - Ubuntu, CentOS, RedHat, etc.
- CI/CD Pipelines - Jenkins, Artifactory, CircleCi, TeamCity, etc.
- Expertise with Kubernetes & Docker - preferably in hybrid environments (on-prem/cloud)
- Cloud Platforms - AWS, GCP or Azure
- SysAdmin concepts
- Configuration Management Tools - Puppet, Chef or SaltStack
- Incident Response/Root Cause Analysis
- Kafka or Rabbitmq
- Experience with programming/scripting languages: Golang, Python, Ruby, Perl or Bash

Preferred:
- K/V stores - Zookeeper, Redis or Consul
- Virtualization technologies - VMWare, ESX, Xen or OpenStack
- Monitoring/Alerting Systems - Sensu, Graphite, Logstash, Nagios, Grafana or Prometheus
- Software Development Experience - OOP - Golang, Python, Ruby, Java, C#
- Bachelors in Computer Science/IT or related field
