RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Irving, TX that is seeking a Staff Accountant.Responsibilities:

• Staff Accountant will assist in the monthly financial close process with cash receipt posting and bank reconciliation
• Assist in month-end process with journal entries and accounts receivable reconciliations
• Prepare monthly intercompany invoice billing
• Work with the senior accounting team and AP to organize, code, and submit vendor invoices for payment
• Create weekly accounts payable batches as needed
• Manage cash balance and prepare wire transfer requests
• Provide accounting and administrative support for senior property accountants
• Ad hoc projects as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is required
• Progressive accounting experience
• Experience with multifamily industry preferred
• Exceptional organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Strong work ethic and team player attitude
• Must possess professional attitude and represent company in a positive manner
• Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
