STAFF ACCOUNTANT ROLE IN GAINESVILLE, GA!

$30-$32/hr.

Responsibilities:

• Maintains general ledger; prepares and edits journal entries and reviews entries prepared by other staff
• Assist with Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
• Researches general ledger problems and makes corrections as appropriate
• Assists auditors in conducting annual/periodic audits: assists management with the implementation of audit recommendations
• Assists in maintaining inventory of department equipment, supplies, forms, or other materials
• Assist the Controller with month end close

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• General financial accounting knowledge including AP/AR, month-end close, reconciliations and journal entries
• Understanding and ability to adhere to GAAP
• MS Office Suite
• Experience in ERP system preferred.
