Our Client is seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Superintendent with a strong background in sewer, piping, drainage and road construction. The Heavy Civil Superintendent will oversee the construction process and ensure that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation

• Ensure that work is completed according to specifications, plans, and drawings

• Coordinate with engineers and project managers to ensure that all work is completed safely and efficiently

• Hire and train new staff as needed

• Ensure that all work is completed on time and within budget

• Monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget

• Conduct regular safety meetings and ensure that all workers comply with safety regulations

• Maintain records of all construction activities, including progress reports, budgets, and schedules

• Communicate regularly with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that all parties are informed of project status and any changes that may affect the project

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in heavy civil construction, with a focus on sewer, piping, drainage and road construction

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a Related Field

• Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from start to finish

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team

• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction

• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and drawings
