Basic Purpose: To provide technical support for the I.T. requirements of the Taylor Group, Inc. and subsidiary companies. To support all Windows Servers, PC workstations, Mobile devices, and networks. Responsible for working with Logically and CSpire to maintain security on the Internet and Intranet.

Nature and Scope: This position reports to the Director of I.T. The incumbent is responsible for all system software installation, customization, and administrative updates as well as all hardware installations on PCs, and networking equipment. Also responsible for equipment connected to any workstation or device such as printers and plotters or any other devices connected to any server of the Taylor companies.

The incumbent is responsible for security on the Internet and Intranet. Will work with Logically to configure firewalls and establish security settings for the best security possible. Strives to maintain the highest possible level of anti-virus protection. Multi Factor Authentication is required.
Responsibilities include supporting Server software, including SolidWorks, CADAM/CATIA, SigmaNest, Docutrail Publishing applications, and Egnyte. Also required to provide support for all corporate PC Window's platforms and their users including software support for Windows Operating Systems, iSeries Access, MS Office 365, Active Directory, Docutrail, and Adobe Acrobat.

Evaluates computing hardware & software to ensure requirements are met prior to purchase.

Principal Accountabilities:
1. Responsible for all system software installation, customization, and administration updates as well as all hardware installations on PC's and any other computing device. Responsible for equipment connected to any PC such as printers and plotters or any other devices connected to any workstation or server of the Taylor Group, Inc. and subsidiary companies including warehouses.
2. Responsible for security on the Internet and Intranet. Works with Logically to configure and administer firewall rules and settings and achieve the highest level of security possible for The Taylor Group, Inc. Works with Logically as they monitor the firewall and investigates potential problems to make sure that everything is working securely for The Taylor Group, Inc., and subsidiary companies.
3. Responsible for working with Sentinel One and MimeCast to maintain anti-virus and anti-spam software to prevent viruses and spam from reaching the Taylor network.
4. Responsible for installing, customization and administration of MS Office 365 and Active Directory.
5. Responsible for working with all users of The Taylor Group, Inc., subsidiary companies, warehouses, and all dealer sites.
6. Responsible for maintaining MS Office 365 and configuring mobile devices to enable users to access O365 tools.
7. Responsible for installation, customization, and administration of Cadam/Catia on PC workstations. Responsible for working with all users of Cadam/Catia and maintaining all backups of Cadam/Catia drawings and applications. Responsible for maintaining all plotters on Cadam/Catia.
8. Responsible for administration of Acelent Docutrail for our publishing department. Responsible for working with all users of Docutrail and maintaining backups of catalogue pages and Docutrail applications. Responsible for maintaining all printers used by Docutrail in the publishing department.
9. Responsible for installation, customization and administration of all Windows servers and PCs at The Taylor Group, Inc. Responsible for configuring the networks so workstations can securely share and update files at any platform level.
10. Responsible for installation, customization, and administration of all connections to the VPN of the Taylor Group, Inc., and subsidiaries to include warehouses.
11. Responsible for evaluating all PC hardware and software for The Taylor Group, Inc., to make sure that they will meet all our requirements before purchasing any of the hardware or software.
12. Responsible for working with Networks and communications which requires competency in TCP/IP, VPN, Subnetting, and Routing Concepts.
13. Responsible for working with wireless networking and PDA's.
14. Perform all duties in a courteous and professional manner.
15. Be available 24 hours a day 7 days a week if an emergency situation exists

Requirements
Requirement:
Bachelor's degree in a computer related field or equivalent experience.
10 year's experience required.
