Systems Engineer We rely on our IT systems to help our business reach and succeed with consumers all over the world. We are seeking an experienced systems administrator who is eager to use and grow his or her technological skills on a nationwide stage. In this role, the successful individual will help maintain our critical information, systems, and assets, build solutions, implement new software and hardware, provide training, and assist in the development of an overall IT strategy. Your primary areas of responsibility will be around network infrastructure and servers (including VMWare hosts and clients). Our ideal candidate will be passionate about applying their skills to technology-based business model that creates real-world solutions for the world.

Duties will include focus on maintaining the servers, server infrastructure, network including switches, WAPs and other related network devices. Monitoring ticketing system and assigning accordingly, installing software and patches, diagnosing, and repairing problems, configuring software and drivers, and performing regular system updates and upgrades. Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, phones and phone system and virtualization.
What You Will Be Doing - Maintain server hardware and software, especially with regards to updates
- Essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, software, and hardware
- Own projects, solutions, and key responsibilities within a larger business initiative
- Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems that provide a commercial advantage in a global marketplace
- Enable faster and smarter business processes and implement analytics for meaningful insights
- Nurture dependable IT infrastructure and networking that is always up and running
- Ideal candidate will have experience with Office 365 administration and become the primary administrator of the tenant
- Assist with On-Call for general IT Support.

DAILY AND MONTHLY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring, ensuring system architecture components work together seamlessly
- Monitor datacenter health using preexisting management tools and respond to hardware issues as they arise; help build, test, and maintain new servers as needed
- Maintain internal infrastructure requirements including, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, security updates, support internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network segments
- Interact with the help desk and other teams to assist in troubleshooting, identify root cause, and provide technical support when needed
- Perform routine/scheduled audits of the systems, including all backups
- Install and upgrade computer components and software and manage virtual servers
- Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues
What You Need for this Position Bachelor's degree in technology or computer science
- Proven work experience in IT with 5-7 years of experience implementing and maintaining technology infrastructure or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Experience with or knowledge of programming/scripting languages and operating systems; current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, system performance-monitoring tools, active directories, virtualization, HTTP traffic, content delivery, and caching
- Office 365 tenant administration
- VMWare experience
- Expertise in creating, analyzing, and repairing large-scale distributed systems
- Creating volumes, assigning to servers and remote replication
- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to create and complete comprehensive, accurate and constructive written reports
- Ability to work in a team environment
