We are seeking a System Requirements Engineer to manage requirements development, review, and verification for fuel cell engines and its related sub-systems and components. The engineer in this position will own the systems engineering and requirements models used to formalize product architecture and requirements. The engineer will be capable of leveraging or developing model transformation utilities to develop a system of models elaborating upon Nuvera products. Long-term, the engineer will develop business systems and/or processes to expedite development of requirements and verification campaigns against fuel cell power products.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Ability to develop toolchains that accelerate the development of product requirements and verification campaign plans.
• Familiarity with requirements development in control software as well as mechanical, and electrical components.
• Ability to review requirements internally and with external departments.
• Ability to programmatically transform data used an application for use in other modeling software.
• Collaboration with other engineers developing product simulation software or modules to interface with requirements and test lifecycle activities
• Proven ability to develop or improve systems engineering processes within the organization
• Investigate alternative systems engineering techniques and software to support engine modelling objectives

Required Job Qualifications (unless otherwise noted):

Educational Background

• BS/MS in Engineering

Previous Work Experience

• 5 years in systems engineering, with emphasis in MBSE or requirements engineering

Special Skills, Experience and Abilities

• Experience working with requirements management/PLM software (e.g. Polarion)
• Experience working with MBSE architecture software (e.g. Cameo Modeller, Capella)
• Experience working cross-functionally to gain agreement on deliverables
• Proficiency in use of version control software (git, svn, perforce, etc.)
• Proficiency in programming (Python, TypeScript, and/or Java preferred)
• Experience in performing risk assessment, reliability assessments preferred
• Good communication and presentation skills

Physical requirements/Work environment

• 90% office environment, 10% lab environment
• Use of basic hand tools
• Lifting light loads (< 20 lb)

• Minimal travel expected
