Vial Pack Technician

Innova Solutions is immediately hiring Vial Pack Technician.

• Position type: Full-time, Contract to hire
• Location: Syracuse, New York
• Job/ Shift Hours: Monday-Thursday, 10-hour day-shift with a 5:00am -8:00am start time

As a Vial Pack Technician, you will:

• Operating all assigned equipment appropriately and per established methods and procedures, to include set up, operation and cleaning of equipment and parts, confirming configurations are correct, checking for leaks or other abnormalities or anomalies, ensuring proper communication of any issues or problems immediately, complete operational documentation per SOP, and tagging/palletizing/placement of all returned and rejected items as needed and required.
• Completing and reviewing area production documentation and verifying all documented entries are accurate, recorded in real time, and signed as completed.
• Maintaining open lines of communication with management, informing management of production updates to include deviations and corrective measures by exchanging work status information within department, management, and co-workers.
• Maintaining a clean environment/work area by using appropriate cleaning solutions and prescribed methods and schedules.
• Ensuring designated equipment/tools are cleaned and sanitized appropriately per established methods and schedules.
• Cleaning and sanitizing required glassware by loading glassware into washer, to include completing wash documentation per SOP.
• Handling raw materials and components appropriately and according to prescribed methods and procedures, to include procurement of raw material, weighing of materials, verification using label that material is released for production purposes, determining amount of raw material required as per batch documentation, dispensing raw material in appropriate environment, formulating solution by mixing dispensed materials, obtaining appropriate components per documentation and handling per SOPs, completing MRT for rejected/returned materials.
• Responding to equipment alarms or malfunctions immediately by identifying alarm conditions and communicating conditions to subject matter experts.
• Assisting co-workers in the production of finished products in accordance to time limits outlined in SOP's and/or manufacturing instructions.
• Receiving and shipping all plant uniforms and scrub uniforms for cleaning.
• Receiving and stocking all garments and supplies for clean rooms and sterile core. Prepares all garments to be shipped and sterilized.

The ideal candidate will have:

• One or more years previous work experience in a hospital or manufacturing environment or doing cleanroom filling.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working in a production environment, ideally in a light-industrial setting.
• Basic mechanical skills related to operation of equipment.
• Proficient in the operation of area equipment/batch parameters/Clean-In-Place (CIP) processes; proficient in assigned tasks.
• Knowledge and skill in operating various specialized equipment, such as packaging, wash, and sanitizing equipment
• Knowledge of and compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) regulations, preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of general computer functions such as Microsoft Office programs, spreadsheets, etc.

  PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
  Pay Range*: $19 per hour.
  *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
