JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Summary: The Vice President, Total Rewards will design, implement, maintain, and administer all global compensation and benefits programs to support the achievement of Company objectives. Incumbent will build and drive the strategic design and execution of the company's global compensation and benefits in line with financial goals and cultural norms.

Essential Duties:

  • Design and manage the strategic direction of the newly created Total Rewards function - ensuring it supports the company's values, priorities and changing business needs.
  • Drive the creation and integration of policies and procedures to ensure global compliance and the achievement of equitable and competitive employee total rewards.
  • Manage overall global compensation including comp philosophy and approach, commissions, STI bonus, LTI equity and executive compensation programs.
  • Responsible for the global benefits programs including health, welfare, and retirement programs, ensuring compliance and cost competitiveness.
  • Establish and measure key compensation and benefit program metrics. Regularly benchmark company programs and monitor external trends to proactively adjust company plans and programs to ensure market competitiveness.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication strategies to drive employee awareness and understanding of all total reward programs.
  • Expertly tackle the analysis, proposal, and execution of programs such as broad-based compensation, health/wellness, absence management, immigration, global mobility, equity.
  • Demonstrated success in partnering with finance leaders, legal team, and other key stakeholders to develop dynamic total rewards program.
  • Ensures compliance with all governmental and country regulations related to compensation and benefit programs.
  • Oversee and ensure proper ongoing analysis of changing regulations in compensation and benefits globally.
  • Lead all mandatory compensation and benefits reporting in accordance with compliance standards.
  • Work with various vendors to negotiate best prices and incentives.
  • Maintain a clear and detailed knowledge of the industry trends, best practices, and labor legislation.
  • Manage and mentor staff - coach, teach, guide, motivate and inspire the team, setting goals, assigning projects, and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Responsible for career development/planning, performance and pay discussions of team members.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, human resources, or related field.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in compensation and benefits at mid to large size companies.
  • 10+ years of experience directly applicable to the design, analysis, communication and administration of compensation and benefits programs.
  • Must have experience with complex comp plans including short term and long-term incentives.
  • Proven track record assessing, negotiating, and selecting vendors as well as managing the long-term relationships to ensure performance.
  • Demonstrated experience driving innovation that leads to high quality, effective total rewards structures, policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to negotiate, organize plan, problem solve and partner with leaders to achieve desired objectives.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems, analytics, report and presentation generation.
  • Working knowledge of executive compensation.
  • Experience supporting a geographically dispersed workforce across a variety of job functions.
  • Strong business acumen, financial, analytical and critical thinking skills, attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels, including executive leaders.

For candidates located in Colorado, the hiring range for this position is anticipated between $150,000 to $250,000 and will be commensurate with experience. This position is eligible for our annual bonus program.
