Job Title: Visiting Assistant Professor

Range: $60,000- $65,500 salary based on experience

Position Summary:THE PSYCHOLOGY DEPARTMENT AT CLARKSON UNIVERSITY invites applications for a 3-year visiting assistant professor position in the area of health psychology. The position starts August, 2024. Responsibilities involve teaching 3 courses per semester, including Introduction to Psychology, Health Psychology, and courses in their area of expertise. The ability to teach upper-division coursework thematically falling into the areas of health care, health science, health outcomes across the lifespan, or child and adolescent mental health would be welcome, but not necessary. Clarkson, New York State's highest ranked small research institution, is located in a rural setting just outside the Adirondack Park, and has year-round outdoor recreational opportunities. Remote Work Days- This is a full time on Campus position with zero remote workdays.

Education:

Minimal Qualifications: Ph.D. in Psychology -All Ph.D. requirements should be completed by the time work commences

Preferred Qualifications: Ph.D. in Psychology, and experience teaching at the undergraduate level.
