Overview

South Carolina Construction is seeking a reliable warehouse helper to join the team. Must have a good driving record as you will be responsible for delivering equipment to job-sites in the area.

Full time position offering steady work and great benefit options.

DOT Medical Card Required

Salary range $18 per hour, Monday - Friday with some Saturday work available.

Responsibilities

Proper dismantling and recycling of scrap metal and all other materials from equipment. Delivers materials for installation/service crews.

• Separate all scrap metal and recyclable materials for processing
• Identify, recover and reclaim refrigerant.
• Operates a forklift to move materials and unload trucks.
• Performs delivery of materials to the job site which may involve picking up parts for delivery.
• May ensure that appropriate materials are pulled and organized for scheduled jobs.
• May prepare equipment and materials for transport to job sites and staging for technicians.
• May perform general building maintenance duties to ensure upkeep of the facility.
• Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area.
• Observes all safety and Company rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid Drivers License REQUIRED
• DOT Medical Certificate is a PLUS
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs throughout the day
• Warehouse experience is a MUST
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen, background check and driving record check.
